The goal at Aurora Building Performance (ABP) is to help clients in building high performance buildings. Which are buildings with superb energy efficiency, water conservation, and resource efficiency. Indoor air pollutants are minimal, and durable materials extend the life, and require low maintenance. In the end you end up with a more comfortable home and fewer complaints.

Making your existing home better and more comfortable. ABP can do audits of your home with the goal of identifying where your energy dollars are getting wasted. We then can help to develop the most cost affective way to improve or repair the issues. This is like a check-up at your doctor except, we do house calls.  

We are also prepared to help interpret the various Green Building Ordinances that have sprung up around CA. ABP wants to make the process as painless as possible and we believe the results will lead to more valuable homes.

Recognizing the need to quantify the relative "greeness" of a project organizations like Build It Green and CalCERTS have developed systems for rating and even measuring specific elements which can then be verified and certified. In doing this it is like the "Good Housekeeping" seal of approval intended to give the consumer confidence that the stated measures are actually there and installed properly.
